The mission of the Baptist College of Arts and Sciences is to achieve the mission of the university by offering a variety of educational programs, services, and opportunities in those disciplines identified as arts and sciences. In carrying out that mission, the professors, instructors, and staff members of the College of Arts and Sciences have demonstrated great personal integrity and dedication. Whether in the classroom or in their many community service projects, the faculty members and staff of the college have faithfully served both the Great Commission of our Lord in addition to the Mid-Continent community.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest and most diverse college within Mid-Continent. Currently the college offers eight majors and nine minors. These majors and minors are housed within six departments: Behavioral Studies, Business Management, Languages and General Studies, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Teacher Education. Most students enrolled in Mid-Continent have chosen majors in the College of Arts and Sciences. At both the program level as well as in individual courses, the college stresses service opportunities for current students. As a result, these students serve their communities, schools, churches, and businesses throughout the college's service region. Graduates from the college can now be found serving their communities in both the United States and even overseas. Other graduates are furthering their education in graduate schools and seminaries. The work and service of our graduates speak well of the programs that the college offers. For some time into the future, the College of Arts and Sciences at Mid-Continent will be impacting their region, the nation as a whole, and in some parts of the world.
