MEETING OUR STUDENTS
“When Coach Pringle first called me to come to Mid-Continent University I was excited but unsure. I was not really positive what I was looking for in a college. After a while I finally decided to come for several reasons. Mostly it was because of softball and because it was close to home. Although after spending a semester here I realize it was much more than that. It was a second family.” Sarah Puckett-Freshman, “Mid-Continent University seemed to be the perfect school for me. The reason is, it is a small school and you can get more one on one time with the professors. If you want to get closer to God this would be the perfect school. Playing baseball is what I always wanted to do and I feel like God helped me make the decision to come to this school.” Brad Clark-Freshman “The reason why I chose to attend Mid-Continent is mainly that the instructors embrace the fact that God is not, and should not, be placed separate from any kind of study.” Jeremiah Johnson-Freshman “I am currently a freshman a Mid-Continent University. Like all new students, I was very scared and nervous about starting college. I soon realized however, that there was no reason at all to be uneasy. All of the people went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. I love the sense of security that comes with knowing and being friends with everybody here. I know that my decision to come here was the right one.” Jordan Garrett-Freshman “Mid-Continent is a place where you will be able to know your professors on a one on one personal basis. You will be able to meet some of your life long friends. It is an excellent atmosphere to excel in your studies.” Beth Lofton-Sophomore “There were many reason I decided to attend Mid-Continent University. First was the opportunity to play soccer. They have one of the best teams in the nation. Another reason was because it was close to home town. I can go to college and get a great education near home.” Dustin Crane-Sophomore “I chose Mid-Continent University because it was a place that I felt God was leading me to attend. I wanted to attend a college that would give me personal attention in the classroom and I wanted to meet life-long friends. I was in search of a place where I could learn how to be more effective in ministering to people. I also chose Mid-Continent University because God opened all of the doors for me to attend this awesome college. Mid-Continent University is a place where “Everyone knows your name!” At Mid-Continent University you will not be just a number.” Mitchell Givens-Sophomore “When deciding where to finish my degree, I searched for a school with a good location, a good Christian atmosphere, and a small student body. Mid-Continent was the perfect choice for me. The presence of God on campus, in both students and professors is amazing. I also love that everyone has gone out of his or her way to make me feel welcome. Everyone knew my name the first day of school and greeted me with smiles and comforting words, and that has made the transition very easy for me.” Kelly Millay-Junior
